| Attaching my weight Hi all , was hoping someone could help me out as to how to attach my pearl weight to my line , only recently took up fishing and have always had other people set up my line , i can tie my hook with the grinner/ 5 turn knot but dnt know how to attach my weight , rather embarrassing at 25 but once i can do this ill b out on my own enjoying my fishing , any help would be great , thanks |

| Re: Attaching my weight its a bomb weight , i can attach it direct to the line but when my friends have set me up before the weight runs loose on like a loop is this the overhand loop i need to know to make this happen , thanks again |

| Re: Attaching my weight if your carp angling your best bet is to buy some korda safety clips,they come with standard instructions,easy to use and available in every angling centre. or try tying a hooklength of say 12-18 inches of line,hook one end, swivel the other,thread your main line through the swivel eye,and then tie your lead onto the main line so that when finished the swivel rests against the lead. im crap at explaining but if you understand this you wont go far wrong. |
