Fishing in Liverpool

Hi Gents/ladies,

I am a new member of the forum and new to forums in general and thought I would introduce myself so please take it easy on me! ;)

Now lets get to the point.... Basically I have recently decided to start fishing again after a couple of years out.

I am going to go fishing this weekend and decided to do some research on the web as to where in the Liverpool area is fishing well and what methods are proving effective.

I had no joy with this so i would really appreciate it if anybody knows a relaible source to gather such information or if anybody themselves know of any places that are fishing well at the mo!

I used to fish down Mescar in Lydiate quite alot and would pull out some nice carp(2-10lb) bream and roach. Does anybody know how the fishing is at the moment down there? and what methods are proving effective?

gaino hi and welcome i live in liverpool near huyton up in prescot if you no were it is just of carr road there is a little pond i call it the secreat hide away it is a good place to fish and it allways throws up something new i will try and get more on it for you
