| Re: best fighting course fish ??? Pound for pound or ounce for ounce. I feel the humble gudgeon is a good scrapper, but its so relative. Due to weight and size a barbel around the 10lb has power weight, both its body mass and the water pressure. As also commented, the tacke is a major role in how a fight turns out. I guess this is a question with many answers, many of them right. For my money, I have to say that river carp are pretty high up. |
