| Newbie looking for where is best to buy some midrange carp gear. Hi everyone, I'm new on here and am looking to buy some carp gear this week. I live in Coventry but Lanes have no website so can't check what they offer and at what prices. I have say 400 quid available for 2 rods, reals, pod and alarms. I'm going to be fishing at Packington mainly and I have been told that they only allow up to a size 10 hook so I may as well use a lighter line and a 2.5 TC rod. But what do you guys recon? wheres best to spend my money and what should I get? thanks in advance Jason |

| Re: Newbie looking for where is best to buy some midrange carp gear. it may even be worth walking round the water & chatting to the carpers before parting with any money, enquire what their gear is etc & also go to a tackle shop & ask them. once armed with that info, then look on ebay etc for what you need. no point in buying everything, then finding you only need some of it. __________________ www.mobilespanner1.co.uk |
