how much is a day ticket to fish fort brockhurst and any advice for fishing there as this will b my first freshwater fishing trip, thinking of going in a couple of weeks

its £8 for a day ticket best place to fish is peg 1 and fish towards the corner of the fort with method feeder

You need a rod licence to fish any freshwater in england and wales. Even if its privately owned.

yes you do and the balifs are very stricked there when i bought my day ticked the shop owner put the wrong date on it (he put 2008 not 2009) and i almost got kicked off.
so i wouldn't go without one
they only cost £25 for the year
well worth it

You need 1 from 12years and up juniors is only £5.

Have a read on www.environment-agency.co.uk got alot of helpfuly info and national byelaws e.c.t
