Re: how much fishing geat have u got and how much have u spend on all your gear

i'd dread to think how much i've spent on my fishing gear, but i know it's now where near the £20k+ i've spent on tools over the past 16 years ... & no doubt that'll continue to grow as manufacturers introduce new things that need new tools to fix them!

Re: how much fishing geat have u got and how much have u spend on all your gear

I like to keep everything very simple. I have two rods, one is an Avon type rod that has a quiver tip top as well, and a match rod that can be fished at either 13 or 15ft. Two reels. Two bank sticks. Landing net. Seat box I got off the carboot for £2. I make all my own floats and never carry more than about half a dozen at a time. Few hooks weights etc and that's me done. Can't have spent more than £200 as most of it was second hand.

Save me money for the ever increasing costs of day tickets. Especially now the kids want to come as well, it can work out very expensive day.

Re: how much fishing geat have u got and how much have u spend on all your gear

i suppose over the last year, i've probably spent about £300-350 (just added it up), but needed to get new kit after my break & it was things like seatbox, rods, reels, rodpod, landing net, keep net etc, still got most of my old floats, legers & shot (non-toxic) from years ago, but that's more than mrs asp knows i've spent lol. but it's still ot too bad really as i don't need anything other than end tackle & baits as & when needed.
not much of a tackle tart, more a snap-on tart, which is more expensive ... see above lol.
