Lochearn is better on the fly just outside the fish cages, on a slow troll if in a boat is better.

Re: Loch Voil Advice Thanks

I would say Loch Voil is good for Trout and Salmon fishing really. I love ot there because there my favorite fish. Loch Earn is more boat fishing. Than Course and Fly fishing on loch Voil.

Re: Loch Voil Advice Thanks

I fished loch earn since i was a boy and always( well nearly) had a good day. Bank fishing is best on the north shore, bout two to three miles out of lochearnhead. Never been out on the boat, cant swim.
