mr.sifter is on a distinguished road
trout on the worm

I thought i'd try my hand at using ledgered worms for trout fishing on the usk reservoir.

I've had a look online and im going to get some specific hooks etc, but how do you get bite detection? i have a carp feeder rod with a quiver tip and also alarms and bobbins with the usual carp setup but im presuming trout dont bolt like carp do and im planning on using a running ledger rig as this is whats recommended so is this the right way to go about it?

any tips would be greatly appreciated!

cheers

sifter
