Carp, Tench or Bream what do you prefer?

This is just for fun. What do you all prefer Carp, Tench or Bream???

Depends on time of year,Tench seem harder to catch in the summer months,so I like Tench in the spring and Carp rest of year.

bream are a rubbish fighter not like carp or tench but i would go for a tench

Golden tench, absolutely gorgeous fish. Bream are good for building weight in matches but not much fun otherwise, like dragging in a bin lid.

Everyone says that bream don't fight, i have had bream that have given them selves a good show, especially on light tackle, and when you hook a bream in a river well that is a good fight especially if they turn their bodies into the flow.

2lb+rudd are so nice but their so rare now, good on light float gear!!! or off the top.

My favourite fish changes depending the time of year. I love so many different species but if I had to choose only 1 fish for each part of the year it would be:

Spring : Tench
Summer: Barbel
Autumn: Barbel
Winter: Chub

If I had to choose only one fish it would probably have to be the Roach as it feeds in all weather conditions and lives happily in both still waters and rivers.

agree with steve there have had some decent river bream that have put up a good fight.

I have access to an old limstone quarry that stopped being worked in the seventies and never gets fished. I was fishing it for roach and i hooked in to something big. After a ten minute fight I landed a massive bream. It was just short of 14lbs and it fought like a demon!
