| matches first off hi im new here me name sam and hope we get on any way macthes ive fished me club macthes for a year now but ive had a short brake from them. and ive got the main gear like me pole, seatbox, pole rollers, side trays and the allmighty catmeat. but i need the things like shots and that and what you would use cause theres something i allways forget. and tips on like commercial whats best a small bomb/feeder or pole. theres all so this lake i can fish very well but last year i missed out on about 30quid quid because my elastic kept locking out where the fish i was cacthing were big. i lost 6/7 fish all though out the day. and had one 14lber. i need the presentation on this lake of a pole but i was thinking bomb would be better on the bottom with catmeat. so thanks in adavance sam |

| Re: matches With the pole, lossing fish with your elastic bottoming out may be because you are using to light an elastic, if you are useing heavy elastic how many sections are you using it in. there are some good books on pole fishing for carp and some good dvd's, Bob Nudd has some good dvd's on the subject, but like paul said make yourself a list. Its also worth going to an open to watch, see how the other anglers fish, as long as you are Quiet and keep low the angler won't mind you asking them. Hope this helps Regards, Steve __________________ Born to fish made to work |
