| Re: worms Ever dig them or get a bowl of water with washing up liqued in it and pour over a small square of cut grass. Then worms will shoot up with in a minute ( soil should be moist for this to work ) the quickly wash them in clean water to make sure ether is no washing up liquid on them. Or get a garden folk stick it in the lawn and wiggle it quickly and worms will rise ( they think its heavy rain ) __________________ Richard|Sea Fishing |Carp Fishing| Spud Gun | Zander fishing | Fishing Reports | Hunting Reports |

| Re: worms thats to much work here is a easy way, till a small square of ground with a roter tiller. cover with some pete moss and cover with a tarp, wet it down daily and re cover. when you are ready to fish the night before uncover tarp take 2 ,12" gutter spikes and attach 1 of each to a car battery at the neg and pos terminals with a length of wire insert the spikes in to the moist ground and watch the worms jump out of the ground. to keem them their throw out some small scraps of food so the y have food to eat and you will have a worm bet for as long as you want it __________________ My wife think's i'm at work, My boss thinks i'm sick. but my friends know that i'v gone fishing. | Re: worms it's also worth having a compost heap, either set aside a fenced area a few feet square in the garden, or pop down the garden centre & get 1 of those plastic/composite compost bins, not only will you be doing your bit for the environment, which is a good excuse to the other 1/2, but also an ideal wormery. will take a while to get going, but once it's composting down properly, then a quick dig & instant free bait for years to come! 1 advantage is that you're not having to dig your garden, especially if it's got a nice lawn & flower beds. |
