Fishing in the Wingate area, Co. Durham?

Hello People,

I reside in the Stanley area of County Durham, that's the 'Stanley' just up the road from Chester-le-Street, not the 'Stanley' near Crook.

To continue - I'm told that there is a coarse fishing lake(s) in the Wingate area (Not too far from Durham is Wingate, out A19/Hartlepool road) & I was wondering if anyone had fished this facility?

If so, your comments (In terms of 'Is it any good', owner attitude, charges' 'what species are in there' & suchlike) would be greatly appreciated.

Hoping you can oblige with some info.
