 Pole Tips ?????? After many years of fishing with a 'rod' someone has given me a pole, how the hell do I connect a line to it, its not hollow and there is no eye set into the tip,am I having a blonde day ?      |

| Re: Pole Tips ?????? what you need to do is glue a flick tip connector on the tip. The pole is what they call a whip, designed for small fish, fishing to hand. mind you there are not that many places that do the tips, i would speak to your local tackle shop. they maybe able to help getting the connector.  Re: Pole Tips ?????? well do start off you will need to get some rubber from a fishing shop, ( if you do not already know that .) on the end off the pole where you hold it unscrew that and it will come off. it willl have a hook on it. then you fred it though the hole in the top and make it go thouh the pole and attch it to the hook and screw it back on. the it is easier to get a pre-made rig so if you do that get it and attach it on the end off the rubber what comes out the end off the pole and there you have it. thats how you do it. caramel |
