Catching The Impossible

The first of Hugh Miles new series, I went down to the Barrington theatre in Ferndown to watch the premiere, sorry as it was announced, the world premiere.
And it was Fanatstic. Having a degree in Photography, I feel qualified to say how wonderful the filming is. The underwater shots make the 'Blue Planet', look like pretty weak in comparison. The shots of perch, pike, roach, carp and barbel are breat taking. As there are many barbel fans out there, watching a 15lb barbel feeding, and watching them feeling their way around the bait, and dealing with a pva bag full of pellets.
The featured angler is Martin Bowler, who is one of the best, joined by Bernard Cribbins, who fishes with Martin, unlike a 'Passion for Angling', where he only narrates.
Profits from these showings go to the A.C.A. Who can argue with that.
There is one more showing, episode 2, next week, do try to go along. There will also be showings at various angling fairs around the country.
I can also say that there is a Q.A afterwards.

Re: Catching The Impossible

Accorded to Hugh last night, there is still some editing to do, but he did say that he was in discussion with various broadcasters about it. DVD should be availiable.
There are someteasers on dvd,if I get one, we could pass the parcel?

Re: Catching The Impossible

I have seen the first 3 films in this series (they were downloaded but will gladly pay for them now ive seen them). The filming is excellent and some of the fishing is amazing. Upscaling the picture to hd makes you feel your underwater with the fish.
Hope we get more films of this quality, cant wait for the rest of the series!

Re: Catching The Impossible

Yep i would have to agree, it is one the best fishing series i have ever seen and i have only seen the first 3.
I would say that it is even better the "A passion for Angling"

Re: Catching The Impossible

I will post a mediafire link to download the films, i will only post the films so people can see the quality of the films and i am not condoning the use of illegal downloads (i have just paid for the dvds myself). Links will follow very shortly, just waiting for the films to upload.
