Flies

Ordered some trout wet flies earlier in the week, not sure what they will fish like but they seem alright to me. Cost me a fiver for 30, not sure if that is cheap of not but seemed reasonable to me.

May try a few of them out today if the girlfriend allows it!

Thumbs up Re: Flies

Good luck with the new Flie's Chris. A fiver for 30 is cheap. There's a lot of cheap flie's being tied up in the countries like India & China. Most of them will do the job though. Flie's don't last long as trout have small sharp teeth which soon shred them. I always say that if a fly catch'es one Trout, then it's done it's job. If you really get into fly fishing, you'll probably start tying your own flie's. A lot of fly anglers do. It's all part of the hobby & it feels great when you get your first fish on a home tied fly. Let me know if you need any advice.
