River Fishing?

Hi all,

I really want to get into my river fishing this autumn as i have never fished any before.

I am a member of Newton Abbot but am going to concentrate on the Culm and Exe mainly. Looking to go for any species that swim and just wondering if anybody could help me out with methods and baits etc.

I have fished the culm a few times, usually stick float and maggots

no expert but get plenty of small stuff this way

still hopeing for that big one
