Re: Cuckoos Rest Dilton Marsh Hi Lman, I use to fish the small lake years ago when the Warminster Wanderers had the lake, it used fish realy good but that was over ten years ago. I know Greenheart has fished the big lake since, but i dont know how he faired. Welcome to the forum Regards, Steve __________________ Born to fish made to work

Hi Lman, Cuckoo's rest is OK. There's a good variety of fish including Roach, Carp, Tench, Perch, Bream & Pike. It can get a bit messy there though due to all the Ducks & Geese. A better venue to take a 4 year old would be Clivey pond in Dilton Marsh. Great little fishing spot with loads of easy Carp & Roach etc to keep a youngster amused. There's a well stocked tackle shop on site that also sells fresh bait & the pegs are dry & well maintained. PM me if you need more details. __________________ Don't Judge My Path If You Haven't Walked My Journey...

Re: Cuckoos Rest Dilton Marsh Hi Lman, have you thought about joining the warminster and district angling club, as an adult memeber you son can fish for free as long as you are there with him. it offers and good sport with plenty of fish to be caught. I have put the link to the web site on this thread. www.freewebs.com/wdac/ This is a shameless plug for the club, as for my sins i am the chairman. regards, Steve __________________ Born to fish made to work
