| Re: Gudgeon Appreciation Society Good point, Gudgeon, ruffe, even the pesky minnow have all saved many of us form putting a blank in the log book. I'm quite serious in my plan to have a go a catching a specimen gudgeon, Banana Steve has tipped me off about a stretch of river that could produce a new record. Perhaps a forumn meet in the style of the Gudgeon parties they used to have on the thames? Instead of frying the gudgies, we could stuff ourselves with cake etc? |
