| Bait question Went to shotley for a spot of bass fishing yesterday (which turned out to be rubbish to be honest) and im left with about half a pound of ragworm. Will freshwater fish take these? Whole or chopped? Cheers for any info. ![]() __________________ All generalizations are false, including this one. |

| Re: Bait question Well i tried the rag i had left over and i had a tench on a live one. The rest were dead and did nowt. So there it is, ragworm sucks as a freshwater bait :-) __________________ All generalizations are false, including this one. |

| Re: Bait question cheers Micheal. I would have thought something may have taken one (well, a small tench did) but it may have been because they were a bit on the dead and smelly side hehehe. I would like to try with fresh dug rag but they dont come cheap. If they fail its money down the pan, but on the other hand if they work we could be onto something good. I suppose it could even be a case of horses for courses (or fish for worms) and they may work on another water. Dare i try again?
