forth and clyde canal

has anyone fished the forth and clyde canal ? it goes from edinburgh to glasgow via the falkirk wheel , i stay near the falkirk wheel but the canal was only re - done in the year 2000 so its pretty empty at this end with fish , anyone been anywhere at all on this stretch ??
