| Re: New to fishing. I aint started yet but within the next few weeks I'm going to milngavie but i aint sure the name of the place. Where abouts do you fish? Thanks alot for all the help guys. I spoke to my Dad and asked him where an angler centre is and im going to pop in soon with my Uncle to have a look and speak to a member of staff to assist me with my help. As you say Drew Diawa rods are excellent with an added bonus that most of them are made in Scotland. I found a Daiwa 148 rod in my work today but i aint got a clue who it belongs to but there is no reel with it. |

| Re: New to fishing. As has been said before talk to the people in the shop. I would also find out what kind of fishing is near to you and make your choice in relation to the kind of fishing you are going to do. There is no need to spend a fortune, it is a bit of a mine field selecting the right gear. I have been fishing for years and still get confused by all the kit in the shops! Find out where you are going to fish most and post back and we will see what we can advise you on! |
