river map Not sure where to put this. Does anyone know of a website showing rivers? Like Multimap but for water. The only thing which comes to mind is the OS maps. I've got a few from doing car rallies but none directly around my area. Their website isn't that great either; http://getamap.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/getamap/frames.htm Multimap's basic maps section is ok, but again not great. __________________

Re: river map I've sometimes used Google Maps: http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&tab=wl You can switch views between road and satellite, or view a "hybrid" with or without labels for places, roads and street names. You can also zoom in/out to get quite good detail. Hope this helps. __________________ "I'm playing all the right notes but not necessarily in the right order" Eric Morcambe

Re: river map I use google maps when searching along river stretches; which can zoom in allowing you to even see the weed in the river. Its brilliant when you want to see what a venue is like that you have never fished before. __________________ Happiness is Fish Shaped (It used to be woman shaped but the wifes getting on a bit now)
