Hey Everyone Again
Im Here with a blank again
Was out with a friend
A little dissapointed but theres always next time i have a few pics though
a cold day with only 1 fish getting caught on the north side
I think the worst ever start of year ive had
I was using a 4lb mainline , Floatng Bread Sweetcorn and cheese
with a size 16 hook

so........The Pics all i have

Never mind Craig, the fishing is slow everywhere due to the weather, I spent 10 hrs on the river bank yesterday and blanked too. Guess that's why the call it fishing not catching...keep it up and you will be rewarded soon

Unlucky Craig, the weather is against the fishing at the moment, I went and hunted the tiddlers as I cannot seem to get the good fish to take at the moment.

I look forward to the report when you do get a good catch.

Hang in there Craig, fishing this time of year is generally tougher (and probably a lot tougher up where you live than down here in the "soft" South).

Small baits usually work better at this time of year as do smelly baits. Corn is good and cheese. But try something a bit different, say, different coloured corn or a cheese paste. It may give you the edge on a tough venue.

Floating bread comes into it's own in the warmer months as the fish become more active and start to search the upper layers of the lake.
