Bad year at Loch Earn

hey everyone
anyone thats fished Loch Earn might have had more luck than me this brown trout season because for me it was terrible i was up there 5 times in with my uncle grandad and my dad in there caravanet on my busy fishing schedule
the whole time we caught 3 fish that were very small and in other seasons we've been catching around 16 good sized fish everytime we went which used to be every 2 weeks or so

i mean i don't know what to blame.......

was it just us?........
was it where we were?..........(st fillians)
was it a off season?

decent luck everywhere else though

some cracking sea trout from Loch Ness Holiday for a week caught around 4 sea trout and 25 brownies that were good enough for eating and around 15 that weren't

me and my dad had decided to set up camp somewhere else away from my uncle and grandad because they thought as always they were in the better place ......... oh how wrong where they they caught 5 brownies
