This Is Your (Fishing) Life - In Less Than 3 Minutes!

A long, long time ago, I enjoyed early success at this fishing lark:

I enjoyed some success as I progressed through my teenage years:

For a while, I specialised in a certain species:

I even managed to get a few specimens along the way:

But then something happened to curtail my activities:

That event was quickly followed by three of these:

The years flew by but I did manage the occassional trip:

Then my son produced a son:

Now I'm old and grey but can go fishing more and more:

And enjoy every minute of it!

It all seems like only yesterday, where did the years go??

Talking Re: This Is Your (Fishing) Life - In Less Than 3 Minutes!

I've been a hippy, skinhead, new romantic, rocker, you name it!

Claudia, I was employed by a bank for more than 30 years but reckon I only worked for about 3 of them! I somehow conned them into paying me each month and sometimes got them to send me around the world at their expense!

Back in the 1970's and 1980's I was an out and out match angler (apart from a couple of years chasing barbel) and took it all far too seriously. I reckon I've got it about right now and really enjoy whatever type of fishing I'm doing at the time.

Two weeks ago, fishing a friendly match (but with a degree of competition), last week, a dangle on the Avon. This weekend I'm off to the Severn after barbel (but it's not the barbelling I remember!) and then off to the Itchen for some BIG grayling

(As it happens, Claudia has the same hectic "diary". Good fishing, some challenges and very good company
