Hi all, I'm sure i read somewhere that vitalin dog food makes exellent groundbait I think I remember you had to mix some molassis to it. Has anyone tried it and was it sucessful.how did you make it up would be a help too.

You don't have to mix molasses in it but I guess like any flavouring it could help. Just plain old water is fine. I've always just used lake water. It's a very heavy/stodgy mix. Excellent for prebaiting and method feeder fishing for carp/bream/tench etc.

I love using it. Cheap and easy to use. My favourite kind of bait!
