Days fishing...

Well... went fishing again yesterday after 20 years... what a great day, caught some nice bream and perch.... and a nice sun burn.

I was fishing Float, 5lb line with 16 hook, double maggot…. now the odd small fish I don't mind but it was getting stupid and one occasion.

Any suggestions/tips on tempting more big fish and less small fry?

Thanks

Re: Days fishing...

Try using corn/worm or very pieces of meat. Casters can work well.

Re: Days fishing...

Maybe change you shotting pattern to get the bait quicker to the bottom so you don't catch the small stuff on the drop
