| Fishing Thermal Suits Fishing Thermal Suits Ok its that time of year and I do not know whats it like tonight round your way but the nights are very cold. Zander and Pike are starting to call me so.............. Fishing Thermal Suits -- whats yours ideas on the best ; both on the thermal side but also the quailty and durabilty of the cloth ?? Cheers Just wish they made a version of the floatation suit for freshwater - warm /you float / and as tough as nails __________________ Richard|Sea Fishing |Carp Fishing| Spud Gun | Zander fishing | Fishing Reports | Hunting Reports |

| Re: Fishing Thermal Suits Hi mate, I use the Nash Zero Tolerance second skin. Top and bottoms. Very, very comfortable (doesn't feel like you're wearing them) and extremely warm. I used them at the Linear meet and the guys will tell you it was very cold, I kept the bottoms on the whole trip as they were so comfortable. May be a bit pricey at around £25, but they've certainly been worth the money in my opinion. The top comes with a detachable hood which can be very handy. Quote:

| Re: Fishing Thermal Suits Well Richard i ll tell you what i wear. From my time in Norway ive learnt its all about layers and quality not quantity ![]() Ive got some thermal underwear that the Norwegian SF use,its like normal long johns but has string vest material on the inside, toasting. Ive then got some other morino wool stuff from norway ontop of that and then if its really cold i wear a snug pack jacket ontop of that. I ll try and find a link to the thermal gear as it really is good stuff,to warm for over her most of the time. Other gear i wear is long johns with a diving undersuit ontop and then gortex waterproofs. Sallopetes and flotation suits are great but its all about what you have on under them. Remember LAYERS ![]() __________________ Come on you HULL! |

| Re: Fishing Thermal Suits Cheers guys - totally agree with the layers and a good hat as most of your heat goes from there ( mines heads empty so loose more ) __________________ Richard|Sea Fishing |Carp Fishing| Spud Gun | Zander fishing | Fishing Reports | Hunting Reports |

| Re: Fishing Thermal Suits for my winter fishing i prefer not to wear a thermal suit,i like to wear layers and top it all off with a top quality coat with bib and brace and thermal boots, if it gets too warm i can easily take the coat off,not quite so easy to take a suit off, this is a coarse anglers view,i dont fish cold beaches and piers any more |
