Anyone From South Dorset?

I have just re-discovered the pleasure of coarse fishing after several years in the wilderness of sitting on the beach catching nothing. I usually fish with my son and at present we are enjoying fishing a little known Weymouth lake for Rudd and Carp. There are fish in the lake up to 26lb and hundreds of small to medium sized fish. I have seen evidence of large Perch and intend fishing for them soon.

I would be interested in meeting up with other local anglers and maybe get a group of friends together to fish the lake and have friendly matches etc. The lake is in a wonderful quiet location with no traffic noise at all. The only sounds you hear are the local Buzzards calling and the sheep dogs on the farm next door. It costs £5/day or £30/year to fish and is wonderful value.

So how about it, anyone local?

I could well be up for a trip or two, Doctor permitting, I am over in Salisbury so would only ever be a day ticket or two. Let me see how things go in the next couple of weeks.
