| Fox Trekker / John Wilson 6 Shooter Thanks for all the advice so far guys, here's another little dilema I don't know the answer to. I am going on holiday shortly and will be doing a little boat fishing off Malta (not too far out) I was looking for some gear to take that I could also make use of upon my return. I went for a Fox Trekker 12ft 2.75 and a JW 6 Shooter, hoping I could use them on the boat and maybe from the coast line. I was also thinking that maybe I could use both as a pike outfit for the winter months. The problem I know I have is .... what line to load the reel with. In my bag at the moment I have Fox Gravitron 25lb braid and Daiwa 14lb Infinity duo . What would the best choice be ? or should I be going for something else ? Also, do you see any pitfalls in my logic about pairing these two up ? Thanks. __________________ Taking Care of Business |
