| Re: Great fishing knot site Columbia is mid-state, so everything is freshwater. We have a big man made lake called Murray which serves a power generating station for the local utility company. Lots of bream, large mouth bass, stripers and some HUGE catfish. There are two rivers, the Broad and the Saluda, which converge in downtown Columbia to form the Congaree. Lots of good fishing in all three. The barometric pressure has been high for several days, so nobody's catching much of anything. The stripers are late getting up river and everyone's waiting impatiently for them to show up. When they do, I'll be there! Keep his head up!! Jim |
