| was rooting around the pro-logic site today and came across this http://www.prologicfishing.com/productBig.asp?id=227 Yes that's tight a "multi-purpose" "specialist" rod!!! surely it's either a multi purpose rod...or it's a specialist rod...how can it be both!! not only that but it's SOOOO specialist that it's perfect for: "carp, big tench, Trout, crucian carp, big perch, bream, orfe, chub and barbel" So it's a specialist rod...that's good at everything...so NOT VERY specialist then....AAAAARRRRGGGG!! I must write to them and point out that it's also good at poking kites out of trees and using as a makeshift curtain rail in emergency situations. The tackle world has gone MAD!! ![]() |

What REALLY frightens me, is when companies (like Walmart) start to believe their own ad copy/press!! ![]() __________________ A bad day fishing is better than a good day working! Think I shall bin all my other tackle & buy one. All I need now is a multi -purpose reel to go with it & some multi-purpose fish. I'm already looking forward to casting an 8oz griplead with it on Chesil beach & then using it to delicately present a size 18 black gnat on my local trout stream. I can't quite work out how to fit it with pole elastic though for when I go to fish the local cut.... __________________ One man's fish is another man's poissons http://www.deepsea.co.uk http://www.wildtrout.org |
