| Licences Hi everyone, As i am from Northern Ireland, i have a Northern irish fisheries licence. i was just wondering if i was to fish an english water would i need the english licence or would my own licence cover it. i am inquisitive as i am going to the Thames this summer. | Re: Licences As an E.A licence only covers you to fish in England and Wales, I would say you would need to buy a licence when you come over here to fish. You can however buy a 1 Day or 8 Day licence from any post office. If you have any doubts then contact the E.A. here: http://www.environment-agency.gov.uk/contactus/?lang=_e |

| Re: Licences finally got asked to show my licence by a EA balliff this weekend after 20 odd years of fishing in England! mind you I'm usually on my hands and knees behind a bush trying to sneak up on some fish or other, so maybe they usually just don't spot me!!  |
