River Thames????

Hello,

Last night we got a boating holiday on the Thames booked. We pick the boat up in reading. As i am from northern ireland any help and knowledge about the river Thames, where to fish and the species would be greatly appriciated. Also if there was any other rivers or venues worth a go in the general area please let me know(i've heard the Avon/kennet are not too bad).

well there are plenty of places to go but i hope your holiday is booked for after june 16th cause we are in the close season at the moment and there is no fishing from
MARCH 14TH TO JUNE 16TH

Yea it is booked for august so we should be fine. I wish Northern ireland had a close season to let the fish breed, this might improve the fishing.
