Just found this on the Environment Agency website....

**There has been a problem with the printers has delayed our mailout of rod licences The licences will be posted to customers on Monday next week. You should receive them on Tuesday / Wednesday. If you want to fish this Sunday (start of the new season) as long as you have your rod licence number and proof of ID, bailiffs will accept these. We apologise for any inconvenience. If you want to contact us, please telephone 08708 506 506. **

Re: licences

Just got mine today and I noticed a heat reactive spot on it. I usually lamenate my licences to protect it. Anybody got any ideas why it is there or if lamenating the licence will affect the validity?

I have tried the environment agency website and also called them but they could not answer me. If no one knows why it there then I am meant to be getting a call back tomorrow with the information so will pass it on.

Re: licences

Hi Greenheart,

just seen this on the environment website:

The licences will be posted to customers on 2 April 2007. You should receive them on the 3rd, 4th and 5th April.

Just Don't hold your breath.
