thats a bloody good dab there, i see it's pictured along side ians fish on his 1100 litre tackle box adapted from a bulk wheelybin
btw, ian,are you going to claim for that 6ft ,150lb halibut? good result for our specie hunt

Problem was mate, that I did,nt have any scales big enough so the 150lb was just a conservative guesstimate. Personally I think it was probably 200lb plus, but I did'nt like to brag. I also think it may be a Halibut / Dab hybrid as it has 3,864 scales along it's lateral line, instead of the Halibut's usual 3,865.
