So going by the size of the flounder compared to the dab, I'd say the flounder is only about 7oz, sorry Ian.

I know that's the latest extra-mini Shakespeare pocketsize tackle box, but come on Dan, that Flounders at least 7.5 oz.

Problem was mate, that I did,nt have any scales big enough so the 150lb was just a conservative guesstimate. Personally I think it was probably 200lb plus, but I did'nt like to brag. I also think it may be a Halibut / Dab hybrid as it has 3,864 scales along it's lateral line, instead of the Halibut's usual 3,865.
