Re: ***Forum Fish of the Year - VOTE***

ee god it was so hard to decide...the skate and the bass are beautiful fish...but seem to be ignoring banana steves MASSIVE carp! i think a few years ago that was bigger than the british record!

but i havent voted for it...sadly...because the fish i voted for was a fish that must have been a titanic effort to land ... and it looks beautiful...AND it would be a bit of bother to fillet...you'd need a samurai sword

so i think thats why it deserves fish of the year

Re: ***Forum Fish of the Year - VOTE***

Yes its a tough one. I love the 52lb Carp, but it was not a UK fish, so for me that takes it out.
The big choice was between the Bass and the fantastic Zander.
But knowing how long it took me to catch a double figure Bass from the Boat. I have to give my vote to Bagstar.

Re: ***Forum Fish of the Year - VOTE***

struggling with this
the zanders a whopper, the bass is special, the smuts a biggie, the carp are lumps( and had to put up with twiddles and steve mucking up the photos) ,that skate is mahoosive(and had a great report with it) 2 cod,and a mullet and a grayling all to die for(well ok slight exageration , but I would be made up for any of them) and of cause geejays "heres one i made earlier pose" just cracks me everytime

(wonder if being a mod i can post several votes to save amymore brainache )
well done to the eventual winner
and to dan for running comp all year

dave
