Re: February Fish of the Month - VOTE

Has that Dab been entered in every month's vote....?

Twiddler - please, please, please - move your hands so we can see the fish... (you get my vote btw - I love the look of grayling, and as I know nothing about freshwater fishing, I've heard they are a pretty shy fish to catch - so well done... )

Paul

Thumbs up Re: February Fish of the Month - VOTE

A very difficult decision this month as all are very good fish. The Dab's a good fish, but I don't know it's weight. Tony's sea trout is a cracking fish, but I discounted that as he was'nt targeting Sea Trout. I have Barries & Claudias fish as equal best fish. Both caught their target species & both are cracking speciemens, but Claudia just gets it with me as she's still a relative novice. Well done to all this months entries.

Whatever you do Ian, don't believe what Andy tells you

My vote went for Barrie's Zed as knowing how hard to catch a zander of any size is, a zed of that size is remarkable!

LMAO

ok, ok, ok, it was 12 inches long and transparent so probably not quite 5lb, lets say 4 1/2.........

In fact I was just looking at the nfsa record dab for shore and the record is 2lb 9 oz - If only I'd have got mine officially weighed, I'd have smashed the old record (which was set in 1939) by about 2lb........... oh well maybe next time!
