In fact I was just looking at the nfsa record dab for shore and the record is 2lb 9 oz - If only I'd have got mine officially weighed, I'd have smashed the old record (which was set in 1939) by about 2lb........... oh well maybe next time!

I commend you for catch and release policy mate.... ...why claim a record when you can release such a fabulous, once in a lifetime catch...
