| Re: Leaderboard - SO FAR Thanks for the up-date Dan.....I haven't given up on the competition.....cos I just like catching fish  I have a few more species to go on that I have not had the time to edit the pictures down for posting, but I will do in the next couple of weeks  And you never know a Giant Bluefin Tuna might get added on the 15th October  hehe The species hunt has been a great bit of fun. |

(Click on pic for larger size)  Certhia and I are just back from a few weeks with relatives and a bit of fishing in Australia. 44 species caught during the trip (not counting the half-fish above) including sharks to three-figures (released at boatside) Lost a lot of good fish to sharks. Much of the time I was flyfishing, and Certhia spinning. Pictures for them all - will post them up in a day or two once recovered from jet-lag We also hooked a few saltwater crocodiles (all bite offs) - five on one day - that was when we fished the mangrove creeks for snappers, barramundi and trevally. __________________ RNLI Governor Nothing matters very much, few things matter at all - Plato ...only things like fresh bait and cold beer - Vagabond |
