hey, i would just like to know what u would do because im fishing a very small lake with a good amount of carp up to 15lb, and a few tench and bream. also the lake is filled to the brim with very anoying guedgeon who will destroy your bate in seconds ( sweetcorn, maggots, casters, worms, meat ). im float fishing or maybe feeder fishing, for any of the the main species of tench bream carp. there is a rules which say i cant use any seeds floating bait, pop ups and can only use one rod. so i want to know how to aproch this water. i was thinking float fishing the lift method but i dont know what to put on the hook. would 10 mm boilies work and also would dynamite swim stim pellets which i just bought work. or maybe 8mm halibut pellets.

thanks

I must be the unluckiest fisherman in the world!

I have spent stupid amounts of money on fishing stuff this year and I have spent STUPID amounts of time out fishing. I've went piking at least 10 times and not one pike have I caught...

Only this year have i got into feeder & waggler fishing. It was great at the start, catching roach/rudd/perch all day long. (To be honest i started at a good time as they were spawning) But now the spawning is over im not catching as much, and im sick catching small fish. Im after something bigger now, i.e. a nice big bream. So, this week alone I have spent (15 hours on monday) + (5 hours yesterday) = 20 hours fishing for bream (not counting the hours ive spent in the last few weeks) and I havent caught one, ive had a few roach/perch/rudd.

So last night, my mate who has minimal knowledge and i mean MINIMAL, goes out to a lake for an hour and a half and he pulls out about 5 decent bream...

God - What have I done wrong?

I'm ready to take up golfing instead.
