As I spend more time with fishing, I started to think about buying additional equipment, clothing. When I add up all of them it becomes really expensive.

Items to buy which came to my mind. These does not include actual fishing gear.

Tent (I have standard camping tent. I don't know if it will be OK to use for fishing)
Waterproof overall
Foldable chair
Foldable bed (I don't know if airbed would do the same job)
Sleeping beg
Fishing trolley to carry all of the above.

Can you think anything else?

When I come back from holiday, I might go for a big shopping to buy all of these. Then I can do over night freshwater or salt water fishing.

Hi
does any one have a clue where all the fish have gone in barrow?

I need a bit of help as I am going for flat fish and maybe mullet but not sure when is the best time because I go to the channel side and fish there until jet skiers decide to go over my line!!

1- Do jet skiers have an impact on fishing? ( i.e. scare off harbour fish?)
2- What is best set up for mullet and flatfish?

as you can see I got a few questions but can't find the right people to ask so I would be so great full for any help!!

What I use is a Standard cigar- shaped sea float and flourocarbon hook length
2 hook flapper for flat fish made out of 20lb rig body and snood

which are all used off a spinning rod with baitcaster with 20lb braidfish2

I've dug the lead for my phone out again, so thought I'd post a couple of photo's that have been awaiting release!

First are a couple of Mullet I've had up the river Otter recently, the first being a new PB. Still only 3lb 3oz, but I'm getting there.

*Previous PB Mullet*

Next is a cute little Small Eyed that Dave had a couple of weeks back at Charmouth. I won't call this a jammy fish, but let's just say that 15 mins of sorting tangled lines out with Leigh didn't seem enough for the little guy to give Dave the slip! omg haha Well done mate! beer1

*He really wanted to be with you Dave!*

And finally, the aftermath of one of my finests casts on the same evening. Somehow the leader knot got caught round the butt ring of the rod and craked off, leaving the leader and rig still attached to the rod, but not the reel, which of course kept spinning and created my biggest birdy to date. I didn't even attempt to pick this bad boy out. omg omg omg

After trying out a couple of new techniques and following advice given on the forum, me the OH and little one had a great afternoon at Church Norton, Selsey.

Sea was dead calm, arrived 2 hours before high tide and caught this - which I think is a small but perfect black bream. It's hardly the creature of the black lagoon but I was chuffed to catch something (needless to say I threw him back!)

fish2

Thanks once again for the advice

P.S. Can anyone answer a question about peeler crabs? does a peeler crab have to have a soft shell? If it has a hard shell can I still use it for bait?
