Re: Fav Films?

Bit silly adding to a thread so old, but did any of you see 'Layer Cake' when it was on general release ? Kind of a bit like a 'Snatch' or 'Lock Stock' film, but very slightly arty.
However, I reckon it should be going to Vid/DVD soon-ish, so check out the local Blockbuster. One of my favourites of 2004. By a long way.
Seeing as we're fishing types, has anyone seen 'A River Runs Through it' ?
It apparently came free in a newspaper a while ago, and since its got fishing in it my sister gave it to me. We've not got around to watching it yet though.

Post Re: Fav Films?

Hi Miles,

A "River Runs Through it" is one of my all time great films now. It is very very good...so watch it and you will never forget it.

Hence my Signature now says "All things eventually merge in to one...and a river runs through it.

The rest of it is....."The river was cut by the worlds great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time.

On some of those rocks are timeless raindrops, under the rocks are words and some of the words are theirs.

I am haunted by waters."

Once you see the film you will understand these words mate Oh and it is a true story!

Wink Re: Fav Films?

My all time favourite film would have to be:

The Dambusters.

But if we are talking sea related it would be:

Blue water White Death
