| smutting again well after last night session i felt i had not fished properly so tonight i decided top go back and fish it again. this time i would have a not just crab but have lugworm aswell i hope the scent trail the two baits would put out would drawa smoothhound in to my baited hook .  i was set up ecacly the same as yesterday as i felt the pulley rig was the right choice but i did change hook size up to a 3/0 wide gap and the bait presentation was fished like this  also i would fish right from the bottom of the tide at 8 pm and fish it right up and just through to the top of the tide .i had not notice yesterday how much it sloped away .  for some reason this added to my confidence for tonight session so with rods out we would see how things would go .i sat and waited and watched the tips and i regulary rebaited but nothing happened .this went on all the way to the top of the tide another biteless session . i must be doing some thing wrong but i can,t put my finger on it . i,m going to rethink this sea fishing . tightlines kevin      |
