strange fishing laws

hi can any one tell me about the fishing laws or comments on the subject of any one going to a fishery on a day ticket and take away a fish at the end of the day. is this correct what i hear

Not sure what you have heard mate. Most day ticket coarse fisheries are for sport only & they would normally expect you to return any fish you catch. Trout fisheries usually set a limit that you can keep for the pot.
