| can any one give me any information /tips on what bait to use and what method is best when fishing these waters. I find it quite a hard water to fish other than catching some very big pike up to 20lb recently. Anything will be more than helpful.![]() |

| Re: swanton morley pits norfolk ok, firstly i need to know what you are fishing for? i live about 6 miles from swanton and have fished them lots over the years and had some very nice fish. good to hear you have had some decent pike out, what lake are you getting them from? |

| i have caught loads of pike in curly's lake at the end of the members only platform the 20 llb pike must of been just to the right of the island.i used a good medium sized perch coloured spinner,i have also had some silver fish in the same lake tried for carp in willow and caught pike in old boys lake to 8 lbs roach to 1 lbs but some times i find it very hard to fish is it because it is very deep in some places i use mixed maggots/sweatcorn lunchoen meat i also find grebe lake hard too |
