I fished cromer pier last night and had 2 dabs and a codling about a 1lb.

Apparently the bass was 12lb. Gives us all some hope

Any other hot spots around that area? I am land locked in the midlands and am thinking of a days fishing but dont know that coast.

Loads of places round the east coast.

I find Suffolk better than Norfolk though.

What time of year are you thinking of coming down?

Bass should be in with force at Cromer Pier by then.

Cley and Weybourne normally produce mackerel/school bass to feathers/spinners

errr. i think bass over 8 pound taste like crap, my 14 pounder i had out on the boat i sliped back, and then someone caught same size bass and same markings, hmmmm

i went to cromer pier a few weeks ago and there was a lot of fish about and the bass where about then
i caught a lot of pouting and a good size whiting
