| Pakefield today Well, the day started when we arrived at Pakefield around 11:00 a.m. The snow came as soon as we were about to set up.  Bait was rag and squid, the rigs 2 and 3 hook paternosters. My grandad was the first to catch, a small pout on rag. Then during a storm my rod gets the classic cod bite, a new pb for me at 3.5lb came in, well chuffed!! That was on size 3/0 hook with 2 rag.   I then got a double shot, a 5 inch whiting on baby squid and a small 4inch pout on rag.  The day finished the beach being white! Lovely day, with a new pb couldn't be happier!!!
