Re: fishing dunwich (suffolk) on the 21st dec

well what a wasted day, nice fishing condition mind!!!

still took some pics anyway:

when i arrived, no cars good or bad sign???

nobody on the beach either???

so i set up camp for the next few hours

rig choice today 2/0 pennel clipped down in case there are any cod around?

and 2 hook flapper 1/0 for the flats

shortly after i had set up i was joined by another fishing

then nothing!! all the way up the tide and down again, dead!!!!

it was only when the tide was on the bottom fishing picked up again! with an abundance of small dabs and little flounders!! at every range from 15-120yrds

some reel monsters to!

followed by the only whiting of the trip

then 3pm came along and i packed up it really has confused me why the fishing is so poor this year????

Just had a great morning south of Lowestoft, mainly Dabs and a few small whiting but so nice to be out there.
