Gunfleet Sands/Clacton (boat) with pix ;)

Hi all,

not had chance to go on here much so i thought would let you know how it went. one q though... WHERE ARE ALL THE COD!!!! we were fishing on the gunfleet sands old boey marker inside the wind farm. we caught 100's of whiting a few keepers, doggies and aout 7 large skate. the 2 largest came in at 10lbs! few pix from the day. if anyone would like co ords for where we were pm me, i was chatting to a few guys on the peer and they were saying no cod 2. its really not good! it does seem that weather its from the beach or in a boat there is sweet f/a out there!

o yes if anyone wants to launch there boat from clacton DONT use Gunfleet sands boat club its shocking its a nice sandy beach at low tide but we missed low water by about half an hour and had no end of problems trying to slip the boat onto the trailer in force 4/5 so in the end we tried up the pier way and people have cut the padlocks of the bollards so you can get down to the beach that way!

p.s a bit unrelated but me and my dad are thinking about selling the boat as my dad is in his late 60's and getting to old to launch/land, if anyone is intrested please feel free to pop me a pm. thanks all.
